About

Dr. Deepshikha Rathore is founder and CEO of MatSense (OPC) Pvt. Ltd. as R&D. She has 17 years of teaching and research experience in Physics, Materials Science, and Nanotechnology. She has expertise in synthesis and characterization of nanoferrites, their nanocomposites and fabricate the gas sensor device using nanomaterials. Her current research interest involves nanoscience and nanotechnology, nanomagnetic materials, nanocomposite, multifunctional hybrid nanostructure, hard and soft nanoferrites and their combination, cyclic voltametry, impedance spectroscopy, biosensor, gas sensor and semiconductor quantum dot devices using inkjet printing technology. She developed an Applied Physics Research Lab with facilities of various “bottom-up” techniques for incorporating nanometer-scale materials. She has published 40 research papers in peer reviewed Journals, 4 book chapters of Elsevier and CRC press, presented several research papers and delivered invited talks at National and International Conferences. She has also visited Beijing, China for presenting a paper in International Conference of Energy Environment-Related Nanotechnology (ICEEN-2014) on title “Application of Gas Sensing Properties of Nanoparticles in Cleansing of Atmosphere”. She completed six research projects from SERB, UGC-DAE, CSR, Indore, ISRO Ahmedabad, and University of Hail, KSA. She has guided 3 Ph.D. as a guide, 2 as a co guide and 2 in running status. She has filed 6 patents on nanocomposites and gas sensors. She has become an expert of KVPY interview committee in year 2020 conducted by IISc Bangalore. She has organized 3 international conferences and 1 international workshop as a convener.
