About
Dr. Suranjana V. Mayani has competent professional with more than 21 years of research experience (including Ph.D. alongside job tenure). In 2009, she has completed her Ph. D. degree in Chemistry under the guidance of Prof. Krishna Gopal Bhattacharyya from department of Chemistry, Gauhati University, Assam, India. The title of her Ph.D. thesis is “Catalytic wet oxidation of phenol and its analogues.” Moreover, she has served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Hoseo University (2009~2011) and workin g as an Assistant/Research Professor at Dongguk University, Republic of Korea (2011~2018). She worked as an Associate Professor in Marwadi University, Rajkot, Gujarat, India (2018-2024). She has been now working as a Professor & Head at the Department of Chemistry, Marwadi University (2024-Till date). She has published more than 80papers to reputed International Journals and Ten book/book chapter on her credit. Besides, she is reviewer of several reputed International journals. She has presented her work as research expertise and academician in several International/National conferences and Webinars. She has been associated with Students Start-ups Innovation projects from Government of Gujarat. She is active member of Catalysis society of India, Korean Chemical Society and American Chemical Society.
