About
I am a translational medicinal chemist with over 10 years of experience in small-molecule drug discovery and synthetic organic chemistry. My research focuses on translating innovative chemical concepts into therapeutic candidates by integrating medicinal chemistry, synthetic methodology, and multidisciplinary drug discovery strategies.
My expertise spans hit identification and lead optimization, structure–activity relationship (SAR) studies, complex heterocyclic synthesis, targeted protein degradation (PROTACs), covalent drug discovery, GPCR ligand discovery, stable isotope-labeled molecules, and medicinal chemistry approaches that support pharmacology and ADMET research. Throughout my career, I have collaborated closely with biologists, pharmacologists, computational chemists, analytical scientists, and external research partners to advance multidisciplinary drug discovery programs.
I have led and contributed to the design, synthesis, and optimization of novel therapeutic molecules across multiple discovery programs. In addition to my published research, a substantial portion of my scientific contributions has been made through proprietary pharmaceutical research that remains confidential because of commercial and intellectual property considerations.
Beyond research, I have led discovery chemistry projects, mentored scientists, contributed to patented innovations, and participated in scholarly peer review. My scientific work spans both publicly disseminated research and proprietary pharmaceutical research, bridging medicinal chemistry and therapeutic innovation.
My research interests include translational medicinal chemistry, therapeutic innovation, synthetic methodology, chemical biology, GPCR pharmacology, targeted protein degradation, and the discovery and optimization of novel small-molecule therapeutics.
