About

I am a dedicated biotechnologist with a robust academic and research background in molecular genetics, molecular cloning, and protein synthesis. I hold a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from the University of Kerala, India, supported by an M.Sc. in Biotechnology and a B.Sc. in Zoology, along with a postgraduate diploma in Advanced Zoology. This interdisciplinary training has equipped me to work effectively across both experimental and computational domains of molecular biology.

My core research interests include molecular cloning, gene expression analysis, protein engineering, and the bioprospecting of microbial metabolites. I am especially focused on protein synthesis and the structural-functional characterization of biomolecules, employing a combination of wet-lab techniques and computational approaches such as molecular docking and bioinformatics pipelines.

I am proficient in R and Python, which I use extensively for data analysis in transcriptomics, genomics, and proteomics. In addition, I have professional expertise in LaTeX for scientific writing and documentation. With over 15 years of parallel experience in information technology—encompassing system administration, networking, and advanced hardware/software troubleshooting—I bring a unique integration of digital innovation to biological research.

As a native Arabic speaker with upper-intermediate proficiency in English, I am committed to contributing to the global scientific community through collaborative research, academic teaching, and the dissemination of knowledge. I am driven by intellectual curiosity, professional integrity, and a strong passion for advancing molecular biotechnology to address pressing biomedical and environmental challenges.
