About
I am Dr. Deepak Kumar. Currently, I am working As Assistant professor, Department of Chemistry, Constituent Government College Richha, Baheri, M.J.P. Rohilkhand University Bareilly. I have been awarded Ph.D. degree on “Modification of natural polysaccharides via grafting and cross-linking and their applications” under the supervision of Dr. Jyoti Pandey at the Department of Chemistry, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (A Central University), Lucknow, India. My area of research work mainly covers the synthesis, graft and cross-linked co-polymer of chitosan, psyllium mucilage and guar gum for drug delivery application, food packaging and wastewater treatment. I have worked on synthesizing nanoparticle drug delivery system to deliver cancer drugs in controlled manner with targetted activity on effective areas with significantly no damage to healthy tissues. pH-sensitive cross-linked psyllium grafted poly (acrylonitrileco-acrylic acid) for controlled quercetin (QPN) release and studies on its anticancer and antioxidant activity. Besides this I have also synthesized nanoparticle drug delivery system for treatment for various diseases such as diabetes.I have good practical knowledge of Nanoparticle and core-shell nanoparticle synthesis, drug delivery system, targeted drug delivery system, and synthesis of graft and crosslinked copolymer etc. All my efforts during my research have culminated in publications in reputed international journals such as: Int. J. Biol. Macromol., Open Med. Chem. J. Mater. Sci. Eng. C, J. Mater. Sci. Eng., J. Technol. Adv. Sci. Res. Carbohydr. Polym., J. Appl. Polym. Sci., Carbohydr.Polym. Technol. Appl., Colloid Interface Sci. Commun and ChemistrySelect (Total IF > 100).
I have 10 years of teaching and research experience including PDF, Ph.D. and M.Phil.
