About
Research during my Ph.D. was focused in teasing out the mechanism of activation of NF-kappaB pathway even in the presence of its inhibitor IkappaB alpha in cervical adenocarcinoma of human uterine cervix. My post doctoral research was to identify the metabolic vulnerabilities of human melanoma cell lines to inhibition of glycolysis by phytochemicals or by mitochondrial metabolites that force the cells to perform oxidative phosphorylation which slows the cell proliferation.
