**Dr. Salman Khursheed**

Dr. Salman Khursheed is an admired Assistant Professor in the Department of Building Engineering and Management at the School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), New Delhi. He has been with SPA since March 2016, following a distinguished career that includes teaching and extensive civil engineering consultancy.

Dr. Khursheed obtained his Ph.D. in 2023 from the Department of Civil Engineering at Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. His academic journey also includes a Master’s Degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi, completed in 2002. Prior to his current position, he served as a visiting faculty member at SPA and Jamia Millia Islamia from 2004 onwards.

With a career spanning over two decades, Dr. Khursheed has been actively involved in structural engineering and construction management. His consultancy experience includes over 75 projects, showcasing his practical expertise in the field. His research interests are diverse, encompassing structural engineering, construction technology, contract management, public transportation policy and economics, and infrastructure projects.

Dr. Khursheed has contributed significantly to the academic community, with over 28 research publications in valued national and international journals and conferences. His work reflects a deep commitment to advancing knowledge and practice in civil engineering and related fields.
