Ilona Kickbusch is recognized throughout the world for her contribution to health promotion and global health. She is currently Adjunct Professor at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva and Director of the Global Health Centre. She is also Director of Kickbusch Health Consult. She has been awarded the Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany (Bundesverdienstkreuz) in recognition of her contributions to innovation in governance for global health and global health diplomacy.
