Prof.(Dr.) Shamsher Singh is presently working as Dean (R&D) and Head, Department of Pharmacology, ISF College of Pharmacy, Moga. He did his pharmaceutical education M Pharm. and Ph.D from ISF College of Pharmacy, Moga affiliated from I.K.G. Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar, Punjab, India. He is contributing dedicatedly towards Pharmaceutical Education and Research from last number of years.
Dr. Singh is a prolific writer with more than 200 Publications in various reputed peer-reviewed journals to his credit. Besides, he has contributed 37 International & 04 National book chapters related to experimental animal models in Springer Nature, Bentham Sciences and 13 book. He has guided more than 22 students in UG projects, 4 Pharmacy doctoral (Pharm.D) students (Postgraduate), 57 M.Pharm, 10 Ph.D (Pharmacology) students in the area of neurological disorders like Parkinson’s, Huntington’s, Alzheimer’s disease, Traumatic brain Injury, and Epilepsy. He had 02 patent, 13 registered Design patents & 05 Copy Right from Govt. of India, THE PATENT OFFICE.
He is a widely travelled and shared his experience through more than 50 invited Talks as prestigious forums in India and also presented his research work in Malaysia, Vancouver (Canada) and Japan and received more than 5 International grants from movement disorder society (MDS), International Brain Research Organization (IBRO) and Department of Science and Technology- Science and Engineering Research Board (DST-SERB). Currently, Dr. Singh is running 5 projects with 04 SRF from ICMR and 01 ICMR-ADHOC of 31.7 Lakh.
Dr. Singh has also presented his research work at National and International platforms and got more than 6 Best Poster and Oral Presentation Awards with most citable are, one best poster presentation award from Punjab university Chandigarh IBRO symposium, second best poster presentation award from the School of Neuroscience Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia (UiTM). Recently he is awarded with Gold medal and first oral presentation award by University Centre of Excellence in Research (UCER), Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot (Punjab), India.
