About
Highly accomplished research scientist with 10+ years of multidisciplinary experience integrating computational biology, transnational pharmacology, and precision medicine to address complex disease therapeutics. Demonstrated expertise in bridging phytochemical discovery with network pharmacology, molecular target prediction, and experimental validation in metabolic diseases, hematologic malignancies, and neurodegenerative disorders. Proven track record of leading multi-disciplinary research projects combining next-generation sequencing, transcriptomic profiling, miRNA analysis, and computational drug repurposing with rigorous wet-lab validation.
My research focuses on developing mechanism-based translational approaches to address unmet therapeutic needs in complex diseases where current treatments remain inadequate. I specialize in translational drug discovery and computational drug repurposing, employing integrated network pharmacology and systems biology frameworks to identify and validate novel therapeutic targets. My primary disease focus encompasses pediatric hematologic malignancies—particularly acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), acute myeloid leukemia (AML), and chronic myeloid leukemia (CML)-where I investigate tumor microenvironment dynamics, therapy resistance mechanisms, and precision medicine strategies for improved patient stratification. A significant component of my work addresses metabolic disease mechanisms, exploring the interconnections between diabetes, diabetic complications, and metabolic dysfunction in cancer. This research has revealed critical insights into how metabolic reprogramming drives disease progression and therapeutic resistance. Additionally, I maintain strong research interests in neurodegeneration and neuroimmunology, particularly Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and diabetic encephalopathy, where I investigate shared pathophysiological mechanisms including neuroinflammation, oxidative stress, and impaired neurotransmission.
