About
Narendra Kumar received B.Sc. (Hons.) and M.Sc. degrees in Physics from Banaras Hindu University in 1996 and 1998, respectively. He obtained a doctorate in Applied Physics from IIT-BHU in the year 2002. Dr. Narendra Kumar is an Associate Professor & HEAD in the Department of Physics, School of Sciences at Mody University of Science and Technology, Lakshmangarh, Sikar, Rajasthan, India. He has over 18 years of experience in academics and research. His areas of Research are: photonic crystals, optical waveguides and optoelectronics. He has published 4 international books and 35 research papers along with 6 book chapters by the international publishers. He is in the Editorial Boards and invited reviewer of some International Journals. Previously, he has also been Head, Department of Science (2013-2015) and has guided 4 doctoral and 8 masters' dissertations at Mody University of Science and Technology. Dr Kumar is a Life member of OSI and ISCA.
