About
Currently, I am working as Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Radiation Physics, University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX.
Previously, I worked as Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Radiation Oncology, UAB Medicine, with Dr Carlos E Cardenas for three years, where my research work was focused on the clinical translation of artificial intelligence (AI)-based applications to improve cancer care. More specifically, I have worked on facilitating fully-automated solutions to improve post-radiotherapy follow-up assessment.
My research interests include Medical Image Processing / Medical Image Analysis / Automated Image Segmentation/ Automated Image Registration / AI.
My job responsibilities include handling Multi-modality Medical Image data (DICOM/NIFTI), data preprocessing, model training using various AI-based frameworks, Assessing Model performance, attending group meetings, manuscript writing, presenting research work in conferences/workshops, and grant writing.
