Professor & Director of Research and Development at Mahendra Educational Institutions since late 2012. Doctorate in Physics and Doctor of Science in Physical Chemistry with rich expertise in Research and development in the recent emerging technological aspects with special reference to Material Sciences and Food Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, and Pharmaceutical sectors. In the past 30 years, I have accumulated great acumen in the field of biomaterials, drug formulation, crystallization of sugars, food ingredients, taste quality, polymer-drug conjugation (Cancer, COVID, Tuberculosis drugs), natural compounds, polymer coatings, and semiconductor Nano-materials. Also, working on the aspects related to the mass production of single-cell protein, commercial cultivation of seaweeds and their byproducts such as carrageenan, application of nanotechnology in the textile industry particularly fire retardant, microencapsulated diets for future use in the food industry, composites, and polymers, the introduction of cheap photovoltaic solar cells to tap solar energy, green energy development and other Eco-friendly sustainable technologies applicable to the Indian as well as overseas countries. Published over 120 reviewed research articles in National and International scientific journals in nanotechnology, renewable energy, carbohydrate chemistry, materials, drug discovery, bioinformatics, biotechnology, and Food Engineering. Apart from being the Professor & Director of Research and Development, at Mahendra Educational Institutions since 2012, he is the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Advanced Science and Engineering (Scopus Indexed) and Open Biomedical Engineering Journal (Scopus Indexed).
