About
Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics at Patna University, Patna, Bihar, India. My academic journey and research focus revolve around advanced survey methodology and statistical sampling techniques. Throughout my career, I have published over 18 research papers in reputed international journals, specializing in randomized response techniques, sensitive attribute estimation, methods for handling missing data, and complex sampling designs.
My doctoral work centered on developing estimation methodologies for population parameters under non-response that address challenges in survey research. I have contributed innovative models for two-stage and stratified randomized response sampling, advanced imputation techniques for non-response, and improved procedures for probability proportional to size sampling, all of which have practical relevance in large-scale surveys and public health studies.
My research contributions have garnered significant academic recognition, reflected in multiple citations and collaborations with eminent scholars. Currently, I lead a funded research project that aims to enhance estimation procedures under non-sampling error, a critical area for improving data quality in survey research.
In my role as an educator, I am committed to delivering rigorous and engaging instruction in statistical inference, sampling theory, and survey design, while mentoring students and junior faculty to foster the next generation of researchers. I actively participate in academic conferences, peer review activities, and curriculum development.
Looking ahead, my research interests continue to evolve towards integrating machine learning techniques with traditional survey methods, developing Bayesian approaches for missing data, and innovating randomized response techniques suitable for digital survey platforms.
I am passionate about advancing both the theory and practical applications of survey statistics, and I remain dedicated to collaborating with the global statistical community to promote statistical literacy and methodological excellence.
