About

Major research areas include the design and manufacture of bioactive drug candidates as well as their in vitro and in silico analyses. Designing more potent drug candidates is also made possible by the examination of the structure-activity relationship, which is also her area of research interest. The identification and quantification of chemical markers using the UHPLC and HPLC procedures aid in assessing the product's quality. The research team is also actively engaged in phytochemical extraction and their use in a wide range of sectors. The research team recently developed an industrial one-pot method for making the crucial intermediate, 1-Acetyl-4-(4-hydroxyphenyl)piperazine (AHPP) for antifungal drug, ketoconazole. This procedure has already been submitted for patenting processing.Already have two process patents granted, 1. One pot cost effective industrial preparation of chlorzoxazone, which is used to relax certain of our body's muscles and ease the pain brought on by acute (short-term) painful muscle or bone problems and 2. A process for preparation of Dibenzothiazepinone is a crucial raw material for the industrial production of Quetiapine fumarate, an antipsychotic drug. In addition, Dr. Kumari has edited a book titled "Strategies towards the Synthesis of Heterocycles and Their Applications," with publisher, Intechopen Limited.
