About
My research primarily focuses on the discovery and development of novel anti-inflammatory and anti-proliferative agents, integrating both synthetic chemistry and computational approaches. Current investigations include the design and synthesis of selenated heterocycles, selenazolines, and berberine derivatives as potential kinase inhibitors and MMP-9 inhibitors. New synthetic methodologies have been developed to access these bioactive compounds efficiently. In parallel, efforts are underway to develop scalable synthetic processes for active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), including Melitracin and other Grignard reaction-based products. Additionally, I am exploring the therapeutic potential of natural product extracts, with a particular emphasis on elucidating their anti-inflammatory mechanisms through network pharmacology.
