After completing my PhD with Prof.Ananth Selvarajan at Dept of Electrical Communication Engg (ECE), Indian Institute of Science Bangalore, I worked with Prof.Georg Guekos (IQE-ETH Zurich) and Prof.G.Denardo in the Lasers, Atomic & Molecular Physics Group at the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics, Trieste, Italy. Since 1994, I have been with Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. I am a tenured Professor, jointly with the Electrical Engineering Department (www.iitd.ac.in/deptt/ee) and the Bharti School of Telecom Technology and Management (www.bsttm.ac.in). I am also the Ram and Sita Sabnani Chair Professor since 2011.
