About
Hello everyone,
I am Dr Praveen Kumar currently working as a senior demonstrator microbiology at medical college, Kota, Rajasthan, India.
I did my post-graduation in medical microbiology followed by PhD in microbiology from National Institute of Pathology, Indian council of medical research, New Delhi followed by PDF from AIIMS, New Delhi. I did my PhD on topic Chlamydia trachomatis induced reactive arthritis/undifferentiated spondyloarthropathy. I was awarded direct senior research fellowship from ICMR, New Delhi to pursue my doctoral research. I was awarded national post doctoral fellowship from DST, centenary PDF fellowship from ICMR, research associateship from DBT-IISc to pursue my PDF work at AIIMS, New Delhi.
My PhD thesis work was well accepted by JIDC, IJRD, Microbes & Infection, STI-BMJ, Journal of fetal and neonatal medicine with cumulative impact factor of 20 later in post-doc our work was published in frontier of microbiology, cytokine, Journal of inflammation research etc. I was awarded international travel award twice to attent/present my research work at Thailand and Malaysia. Presently I am working on host pathogen interaction and diagnosis and pathogenesis of febrile illness.
