About

I am Assistant Professor in Department of Geography since 2018 & Cultural Landscape; Heritage Tourism Expert, Analyst and Planner. I am former steering committee member of Asian Geographical Association- AGA working group on Cultural Geography and now serving as Jt. Secretary of the ACLA- Asian Cultural Landscape Association (Korea); and life member of Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage. I was nominated as Central Zone Representative ICOMOS India (an advisory body of UNESCO) in 2019 & also the former member ICOMOS National Scientific Committee: Interpretation & Presentation of Cultural Heritage Sites and National Scientific Committee: Cultural Landscape & also Expert Member of International Scientific Committee: Places of Religion and Ritual (PRERICO). I have presented research papers on various aspects in seven International Seminars held abroad (Bali-Indonesia, Korea (3 times), IGU World Congress Beijing, Lampang-Thailand, and Vladivostok- Russia), and several National and International Seminars held in India. credit to publish a dozen of papers on the various aspects of Cultural Landscape, Heritage and Tourism in the journals of repute. His area of specialization in Human Geography, Cultural Geography, Geography of Tourism and Geographical Thought and areas of research practices Tangible and Intangible cultural heritage conservation, management, planning, & awareness, Religious pilgrimage/ alternative journey (tourism) and routescapes.
