About
Dr Dhirendra Mishra is working as Professor and Head of computer engineering department. Additionally he is Chairperson of 311 program offered in collaboration with Virginia Tech USA, professor in charge of international relations at Mukesh patel school of technology management and engineering of SVKM's NMIMS University, Mumbai, India. He has served as Associate Dean of the Engineering school and Head of Computer Engineering Department of the school at NMIMS University in the past. He has been actively involved in various Academic, Administration and Research activities. He has received many awards such as Best faculty award from NMIMS and EMC Pvt Ltd for his teaching excellence. His department has been awarded with best department twice during his tenure of headship. He has also received best research paper award in IEEE Conference. Dr Mishra is outcome-based education consultant. He has conducted various number of training programs on Outcome based education for faculty members of engineering institutes across the country. He has also played key role in implementing the outcome-based education process in various engineering institutes. He has more than 100+ research papers published to his credit in various international conferences and journals. 06 PhD Research scholars have completed their PhD program successfully under his supervision. He is currently guiding 04 PhD Research scholars in the area of Image processing, Data Analytics. His areas of interest are Image processing, video processing, image analytics, databases, Biometrics, Data Mining/Analytics, software engineering and Education Technology. He is Research paper reviewer for many reputed international journals such as IEEE Access, Journal of sensors etc. and conferences.
