I am working as an Assistant Professor, Department of Zoology, MGV’S, MPH Mahila College, Malegaon, India. Basically a protozoologist, Sontakke graduated and post graduated in Zoology followed by Ph. D. on Study of Eimeria Species in Sheep and Goats from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathawada University, Aurangabad. I am recognized M. Phil and Ph.D. guide in Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. Her field of specialization is protozoology, Metagenomics, Cancer, Infectious Diseases in living being. I am actively involved in teaching, research, and extension activities in protozoology for the last 10 years.
