I am Mukhtiar Singh,working as Professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Lovely Professional University. For the past 14 years, I have been deeply immersed in the world of education and research, particularly in the fascinating domain of Material Science.

My journey began with a curious mind and a passion for understanding how materials shape our world. I pursued my Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering from G.N.D.E.C Ludhiana and later went on to earn a Master's degree in Engineering Management from the University Of Greenwich U.K. The more I delved into the subject, the more I realized my calling lay in exploring the intricate properties of materials and their applications.

Joining Lovely Professional University as a faculty member was a turning point in my career. I discovered a platform where I could share my knowledge and passion with eager young minds, inspiring them to explore Material Science's possibilities.

Pursuing further knowledge and expertise, I embarked on the challenging path of a PhD in Material Science. The journey was arduous but rewarding, and I successfully earned my doctorate from Lovely Professional University. My research focused on thin film coating, contributing valuable insights.

Over the years, my role as an Associate Professor has allowed me to connect with countless students, each with their unique aspirations and dreams. Being a part of their growth and witnessing their intellectual transformation has been immensely fulfilling.

Beyond the classroom, I have actively engaged in research, publishing my findings in reputable scientific journals. I believe that research is the gateway to pushing the boundaries of knowledge and fostering innovation in Material Science.

The joy of teaching, the thrill of discovery, and the satisfaction of contributing to the academic community have fueled my passion for the past 11 years. I am grateful for the opportunity to shape the minds of future engineers and scientists at Lovely Professional University.

As I continue on this path of exploration and learning, I remain committed to nurturing young talent and making a positive impact in the field of Material Science. With each passing day, I strive to inspire and empower the next generation to create a better, more sustainable world through the understanding and application of materials
