Dr. Jobish Johns is working as a Professor in the Department of Physics of RRCE Bangalore. He is a Visiting Professor at Department of Materials Science and Technology, Prince of Songkla University, Thailand. He has completed his doctoral degree from Mangalore University in the year 2010. After receiving PhD, Dr. Jobish Johns worked as a Postdoctoral Associate at Center of Excellence in Natural Rubber Technology at Department of Rubber Technology and Polymer Science, Prince of Songkla University, Pattani, Thailand. His areas of interest include polymer blends, natural fibers, natural rubber based nano-composites and modification of natural rubber molecules. In the field of Rubber Technology, his groups do the fabrication of different nano-composites for high performance elastomeric applications. In the field of polymer blends, novel strategies for compatibilization and modification of blending and morphology modification are being tried. He has developed a novel method to vulcanize natural rubber by using Glutaraldehyde. He has Published 9 text books and 92 research articles in international journals.
