About
I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at IIT Roorkee in the Department of Chemical Engineering. My current work centers on sustainable resource recovery, specifically developing membrane technologies and Bioelectrochemical Systems (BES) to extract acids and metals from industrial wastewater.
My research foundation was built during my PhD at Jadavpur University, where I focused on aerogel chemistry and the synthesis of functional nanoparticles. I am particularly interested in how the unique porous structure and surface chemistry of aerogels can be optimized for adsorption and the creation of value-added products. By integrating this background in material science with microbiology, I aim to design more efficient electrodes and separation interfaces for environmental applications.
I have had the opportunity to share my work at various national and international conferences and am always eager to connect with others working toward a circular economy and advanced material design.
