Dr. B. Rajesh Kumar is an Associate Professor in Physics, GITAM (Deemed to be University), Visakhapatnam, A.P, India. In 2013, he obtained his Ph.D. degree in Physics with specialization in Materials Science-Thin Films from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, A.P. He published more than 50 research papers in international journals, 30 international conference proceeding papers with overall citations > 1500. He received Young Achiever Award for his research work on photovoltaics in International Conference on Renewable Energy Research and Education (RERE- 2018) organized by Government Autonomous College, Rajamahendravaram, A.P in association with Conn Centre for Renewable Energy Research, University of Louisville, KY-USA. He received the Young faculty in Science (Physics) Award (2018) from Venus International Faculty Awards-VIFA 2018 and Outstanding Faculty in Materials (2021) from Venus International Foundation, Chennai, India. He had professional life memberships in the Materials Research Society of India (MRSI), Indian Vacuum Society (IVS), Electron Microscope Society of India (EMSI), Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA), Indian Physics Association (IPA) and Asian Polymers Association (APA).
