I finished DM in Endocrinology from SGPGIMS, Lucknow in 2005, where my research topics were "Prevalence of Metabolic syndrome in Polycystic Ovary Syndrome" and "Antibody and HLA profile in Premature Ovarian Failure".
After that I have worked at different corporate hospitals in North India. The longest time I spent was at Medanta, the Medicity in Gurgaon, India till 2019 where I was Director of Inpatient Diabetes Management and published 3 papers on inpatient insulin protocols. I also published papers in the field of vitamin D, osteoporosis, gestational diabetes, hypocalcemic cardiomyopathy.
I started my own Endocrine and Diabetes Clinic called DoorToCare in 2019. My current areas of interest are narrative medicine and behavioural sciences in chronic care medicine. I have organised 2 Female Endocrine Meets and one meeting on "humanising Medicine", with an in-depth inter-speciality discussions. I am also the founder and secretary of a not-for-profit society called Saksham: a Type 1 diabetes welfare society- https://sakshamdiabetes.com/
I have started a new project on app based insulin management of patients after kidney transplant, which we are studying and different centers.
