Dr. Dadamiah PMD Shaik is currently working as an Associate Professor and HOD of Physics at Vardhaman College of Engineering. He has over 19+ years of experience in Teaching, Research, Administration in various reputed Engineering Colleges. He received his Ph.D. in Physics in 2016 from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupathi, AP, M.Sc in Physics in 2006 from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupathi, AP and B.Sc. in CS in 2003 from S K University-Tirupathi, AP. He is a reciepant of Gold Medal in 2017 for securing 1st rank in M.Sc (Physics) . He has been ratified as Assistant Professor from JNTUA.
Dr. Dadamiah PMD Shaik has guiding 3 Ph.Ds of Career Point University, Rajasthan in the area of Nanotechnology. He has published more than 27 papers in refereed International journals/Conferences of repute (most of them are indexed by Scopus/WoS and by renowned publishers like Elsevier, springer etc.), 2 patents, authored a book chapters and two textbook. He has 814 google scholar citations with 14 h-index and 17 i-10 index. To his credit, he occupied several positions like Convener, Co-convener, reviewer and session chair for various International and National conferences. He has organized several workshops/conferences.
In recognition of his excellence in research, he received Best Paper award in 2018 from SVET and Best Researcher award in 2021 from Nature Science Foundation, Coimbatore, Research Excellence Award in 2024 from Physics Teachers Welfare Association.
