About
I, Dr. Tejeswara Rao Allaka, completed my doctoral studies in 2020 at the Centre for Chemical Sciences and Technology, Institute of Science and Technology, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad, India, Research interests include the synthesis of naturally occurring substances, synthetic organic chemistry, molecular structure characterization, and process and preparation of impurities. Currently, I am looking for a new R & D position and I would like to continue my career at your research organisation.
I completed my Project Management Professional course with Shri Learning training institution, Mumbai, India in the month of July 2023. Presently, I am working as a Research Scientist in API-R & D at Apothecon Pharmaceuticals Pvt Ltd., Hyderabad in the area of APIs and drug intermediates (Lacosamide, Probenecid sodium, Rimegepant) by route scouting & validation (July 2023-conti...). I worked as a Senior Supervisor in API-R & D at SYMED Labs, Hyderabad in the area of APIs (Pantoprazole, Brivaracetam, Sulphate, Rivaroxaban) and drug intermediates by route scouting & validation (Sep 2021-June 2023). I have worked as a Research Scientist in different projects on synthesis of APIs (Relugolix, Elagolix sodium, Sildenafil) and various type of heterocyclic compounds as a part Drug Discovery programme following literature survey and modifying synthetic routes in Metrochem API PVT LTD., Hyderabad, India for 2 years (June 2019-Aug 2021). I have worked as R & D - chemist for the preparation of chemical impurities at GVK Bio Pvt Ltd., Hyderabad (2011-2012). I have worked as JRF/SRF (2012-2019) at CCST, IST, JNTUH University, Hyderabad in the subject areas of Organic Chemistry, Spectroscopy and Spectrometry, Retro synthesis. I have organized as a committee member in several international, national conferences and seminars, as well as refresher courses.
My thesis title “Synthesis and characterization of novel fluoroquinolone molecules and evaluation of their biological activities”. During my PhD, I worked on fluoroquinolone scaffolds and good experience in which are involved fluoroquinolones containing asymmetric citrate conjugates linked to 1,2,3–triazoles, 1,2,4–triazoles, 1,3,4–oxadiazoles, 1,3,4–thiadiazines, 1,3,4-thiadiazoles, 4–thiazolidinone, pyrazoles, pyrroles, tetrazolyl-pyrrolidines via conventional as well as sonochemical techniques. I have been worked on chalcone, quinolone, quinazoline, indole, etodolac, purine nucleoside bridged with different heterocyclic derivatives. All the final derivatives were done for their spectral analysis like 1H NMR, 13C NMR, IR, UV, Mass and SEM, TEM analysis. All the molecules were done for molecular docking with the active site of DNA gyrase (2XCT, 2XCS, 3FOE, 2ZCS) and Topoisomerase-IV (3IVX, 4KPE), Topoisomerase-IIa (1ZXM), antifungal (5TZ1), KRAS Q61H mutant (6MNX), dehydrogenase type 1 (3HB4), Human PFKFB3 (6IBZ) by Schrödinger, autodock4.2, Gold, Glide protocols and predict their ADMET properties using the SwissADME, ADMETlab2, Molinspiration, Molsoft and Osiris toolkits. During research tenure I have guided 5 PhD chemistry students, all of them produced high quality projects and articles and guided 8 M.Sc., chemistry students with their project works. During my PhD study, I published over 15 research articles in international and national Journals, 1 De Gruyter book chapter, 1 Elsevier book chapter, and attended more than 15 International and National conferences and presented scientific papers.
With my overall Research and Industrial experience, I am confident that I can be a good part of your research organization. I have attached my Curriculum Vitae, Covering letter for your perusal. I believe my enthusiasm, curiosity, and determination along with my scientific background parallels my research interest in your group. I would be grateful if you could consider my application for the position of Research Associate to Research Scientist at your organization. Will you require any further clarification of this letter or need any additional information, please do not hesitate to contact me.
I am looking forward for your positive response.
Thanking you
Sincerely,
Dr. Tejeswara Rao Allaka, PhD
