Debabrata Bej is currently working as a Research scientist in the Common Research and Technology Development Hub (CRTDH) on Affordable Healthcare at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, India. He received his Ph.D. Degree from the Electronics and Communication Engineering of National Institute of Technology (NIT) Durgapur, India. He received his M.Tech. Degree in VLSI Design & Embedded systems from Institute of Technical Education and Research, Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University, Bhubaneswar, India in 2017, and B.Tech. Degree from West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata, India in 2012. He joined IIT Kharagpur in 2012 as Project Assistant and completed two sponsored research projects in the Civil Engineering department, funded by DST, Government of India and IBM. He associated with Special Manpower Development Program- Chip to System Design (SMDP-C2SD) Project as Project Assistant, which is sponsored by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (Meity), Government of India. His current research interests include
Thin Film Deposition and Characterization, Metal Oxide Nanostructures, Gas sensor development, Flexible and Stretchable Wearable Sensor Development, Sensor Development for Environmental, Agricultural, and Health Monitoring, and Integration of the sensor devices with Embedded Systems/ Internet of Things (IoT)/ Cyber-Physical Systems/ System Engineering to deliver innovative application-driven solutions.
