About

Ms. Gummudala Yashaswini pursuing her Ph.D (Entomology) from College of Agriculture, Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU), Rajendranagar, Telangana working on haplotype characterization of Fall armyworm, insect gut bacteria mediated insecticide degradation and cellular immune responses against insecticides and entomopathogens. She has completed her M.Sc (Entomology) from Post Graduate College of Agriculture, Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University, Pusa, Bihar in 2021 on Molecular Characterization and Phylogenetic Diversity of Bemisia tabaci complex and its Endosymbionts in Bihar. Completed B.Sc (Agriculture) from Agricultural College, PJTSAU Polasa, Jagtial, Karimnagar, Telangana in 2019. She has qualified ICAR-JRF, ICAR-SRF and ASRB-NET and awarded with FMC Fellowship. She has published 9 research articles in National and International Journals, 5 book chapters, 1 review article, 9 abstracts and 8 popular articles. She has participated in different international and national conferences, training programs and seminars. She is also an author and editor of Pests of Horticultural Crops and Instant Entomology, Entomology vistas: Emerging trends in entomology books respectively.
