About
Gaurav is a Ph.D. research professional with around four years of industrial R&D experience pertaining to the field of optoelectronic semiconductor materials and their applications.
His areas of expertise include development of advanced nano-materials for applications ranging from fluorescent lamps, LEDs, solar cells, solid oxide fuel cells and energy storage materials. Gaurav’s interest in fundamental research areas lie in the growth of oxide and nitride thin films and oxide nano structures, optoelectronic applications of oxide and nitride thin films and plasma spectroscopy.
Gaurav possesses Ph.D. (Physics) from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati where he completed his thesis on “Pulsed laser deposition and characterization of wide band gap oxide and nitride semiconductor thin films”. He has M.Sc. in Physics from D.D.U. Gorakhpur University Gorakhpur with electronics as the specialization subject.
