Dr. Ayesha Taranum, I have completed my Ph.D. from VTU in the year 2022 and has a teaching experience of 16+ years in the field of Computer Science and Information Science in both UG and I am currently working as an Associate Professor & Deputy Head at Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering in Mysuru, India. My research areas lie in Computer networks, the Internet of Things, Cloud Computing, Big Data, Machine learning, and Blockchain Technologies. I have published around 30+ publications in Scopus indexed conferences, Web of Science and International Journals, I have worked in the roles such as program Specific coordinator, Research center coordinator, seminar coordinator, Internship, Technical and professional form coordinator IQAC Coordinator, NAAC overall Coordinator, and NIRF accreditation Coordinator, NBA Coordinator, Course Coordinator CSI and IEEE student Branch Coordinator, etc. I have submitted funded proposal to DST, VGST, AICTE, KSCST, and other agencies and also had been called for presentation and have a total of sanctioned amount of 5 lac. Worked as Coordinator in Organizing many National and International Conferences, Symposiums, FDPs, Workshops, and seminars. Successfully guided more than 50 projects for UG students. Have published book chapters and have a patent. Have been invited as a Guest Lecturer, Distinguished Speaker at various National and International levels such as IEEE WOMEN IN DATA SCIENCE and many more.
Working to engineer a better world. To become the kind of Professor that changes the lives of students for the better, educating them about Technical knowledge. Coordinating higher-ups in all aspects of Department work. To establish innovative lab using Industry contacts. Getting funds to college Arranging and conducting FDP/Workshops every year for staff and students. Conduct vocational training program for students.
