About
I am Vijay Kondreddy aka Vijay Kumar Reddy, Kondreddy, completed by BS degree in 2008 and MS degree in 2010 from Sri Venkateshwara University , Tirupati, India. I did my doctoral studies on the topic " Studies on lipids as modulators of mucosal immunity and Inflammation" in Dec 2016. Subsequently, I have joined as a post-doctoral research associate with Dr. Rao LVM at The University of Texas , Texas, USA. I have received post-doctoral training in cell-signaling, coagulation biology, vascular biology and Inflammation. From July 2022-2024, I worked as a Scientist at CSIR-IICT, Hyderabad, India. Currently, I am working as a Associate Professor at Central University of Punjab, Bathinda, India. My future research interests are to understand how cell-signaling adaptor protein called Gab2 relay cell-signaling of proinflammatory receptors and contribute to the inflammation , endothelial dysfunction, and development of cardiovascular diseases. These studies enable to identify Gab2-signaling blockers as novel therapeutics to treat the pulmonary and cardiovascular diseases.
