About

I am an inorganic chemist and innovative thinker with 6-7 years of research experience in academic labs in the design and synthesis of mono-, di-, and polynuclear 3d transition metal complexes, coordination polymers with multidentate and compartmental ligands, and their applications in biomimicking, photo-, and electrocatalysis. Different techniques were used in this study to characterize the prepared compounds. To investigate the structure and bonding, X-ray crystallography, powder diffraction, mass spectrometry, and various types of spectroscopy (IR, UV-vis, EPR, and NMR) are used. Cryomagnetic measurements are used for magnetic properties of polynuclear species. FESEM-EDX study revealed the correlation between elemental composition and morphological changes. Redox study by electrochemical methods like cyclic voltammetry and differential pulse voltammetry. In my Ph.D., I have published ten research articles in national and international journals in reputed publication houses like Indian Academy of Sciences, American Chemical Society, Royal Society of Chemistry, Willey, Elsevier, etc., and now a few manuscripts are under revision and preparation and i have participated and presented my research papers in many national and international conferences and workshops.

I am skilled in operating instruments such as Bruker D8 QUEST SC-XRD, D8 Advance-PXRD, NMR, EPR, Thermo Scientific Nicolet iS5 FT-IR , Shimadzu UV-3600, CH Instruments model 620A, Zahner Zanium, Parstat MC electrochemical workstation, Shimadzu Nexis GC-2030 Gas Chromatograph, PerkinElmer STA 6000, TA Instruments Discovery DSC 250, and Sherwood Scientific Magnetic Susceptibility Balance, Digisun DI-909 conductivity meter, Nikon-SMZ800N Microscope, Labindia Visual melting point apparatus. In-depth knowledge of software like ChemDraw, Origin, Mercury, Diamond, Olex2, Wingx, Platon, CrystalExplorer, Expo2014, PHI, SHAPE, Mestrenova, Topspin, and competent in M. Office word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

I have problem-solving and good communication skills, and experience of carrying out projects individually and in a team. I am well-versed in data compilation and English article writing for journal publication and have experience guiding MSc students on lab work. I am accustomed to enforcing laboratory safety to maintain a safe and productive working environment. I recently submitted my Ph.D. thesis and am now looking for a postdoctoral position to apply my knowledge, experience, and skills.
