Dr. Anand Kumar Chaudhari is currently serves as an assistant professor and research leader at Department of Botany, Government Girls' P.G. College, Ghazipur, India. He received his Bachelor degree in Botany, Zoology, and Chemistry in 2013, master degree in Botany in 2015 from Banaras Hindu University and Ph.D. in Botany from the same in 2021 through a fully-funded National fellowship (JRF and SRF) from the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, New Delhi, India. Dr. Chaudhari is an experienced food scientists with over 51 research publications (papers have been cited 680 times, with an H-index of 17) related to the "investigation of biological efficacy and safety/toxicology of plant essential oils, their bioactive components and their Nano-encapsulated formulations against fungi, mycotoxin contamination, and lipid peroxidation as well as storage insect pests causing quantitative and qualitative deterioration of stored food commodities". Owing to the recognition of his research works, he has been awarded with different research awards in International and National Seminars, including "Best Scientific paper presentation Award" from Trends in Biochemical and Biomedical Research conducted by Department of Biochemistry, Banaras Hindu University and "Certificate of Merit award" from Indian Botanical Society conducted by Department of Botany, University of Calicut, India. He also served as a reviewer of many peer-reviewed International Journals such as Frontiers in Nutrition, Archives of Phytopathology and Plant Protection, Food Additive and Contaminants, Frontiers in Microbiology etc.
