About
I was a professional geologist in the Geological Survey of India (GSI) for ~25 years but I had a fascination for teaching and finding an opportunity to shift to one of the premier earth science educational institution in India (Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur) I joined the academic fraternity in 2008. About one and half year later I joined University of Delhi where currently I am working in a permanent position as Professor.
