About
Experimental materials scientist with a PhD in Physics from IIT Madras. Research focuses on functional oxide nanomaterials, thin-film deposition (including ALD), and heterostructure engineering for photoelectrochemical energy conversion and gas sensing. Expertise spans hydrothermal synthesis, electrochemical anodization, and advanced characterization (SEM, TEM, XRD, XPS, AFM/PFM, Raman, UV-Vis, electrochemical methods). Published work includes template-free BiFeO₃ nanorod arrays and ALD-coated core-shell structures for room-temperature NO₂ sensing. Recipient of JASSO research fellowship for a visiting stay at Nagaoka University of Technology, Japan.
