About
Dr. Amit Kumar Singh was born in Senduari, Hajipur, Bihar, India, in November 1982. He received the Ph. D. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Silchar, Assam, India, in 2017. He completed his B. Tech. and M. Tech. Degree in mechanical engineering from North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST), Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, India, in 2008 and 2011, respectively.
Since 2019, he has been an Assistant Professor in the Department of mechanical engineering, National Institute of Technology Nagaland. He is an author of more than 20 articles. His research interests include Micromachining, Advanced materials and processing, advanced machining processes, Optimization techniques, Numerical modelling process, Conventional Machining, Robotics, CAD/CAM/CIM. Composites Materials, Mechatronics and Manufacturing Automation, Polymer Composite, Shape Memory Alloy and their characterization.
