ARGHA KUMAR BANERJEE

About

Dr Argha Kumar Banerjee , Associate Professor, Department of English, St Xavier's College (Autonomous), Calcutta University. He was a Commonwealth Research Scholar at the Department of English, Sussex University, U.K. where he wrote his D.Phil thesis on Literature of the First World War. Recipient of Charles Wallace Fellowship, he has authored the following books: 'Female Voices in Keats's Poetry', 'Poetry of the First World War: A Critical Evaluation', 'Women's Poetry and the First World War'. Besides contributing several book chapters, he has contributed to journals like 'Keats and Shelley Review', 'South Asian Review', 'English' (Journal of English Association), 'South Asia: The Journal of South Asian Studies'.
