About

Dr. Vinay Anand has a B.E. and M.Tech. in Electrical Engineering and completed a Ph.D (Electrical Engineering), in the field of research Electric Vehicle from Lovely Professional University Jalandhar. With a multi-faceted 21 years of rich Teaching, educational administration, and research experience, he is currently Assistant Controller of Examinations, at the University located at Lucknow. The subjects taught by him are Electrical Machines, Power Electronics, and Electric Vehicles, with office administration skills such as managing student records, maintaining academic policies and procedures, and processing transcript requests, excellent organizational and time management skills, exposure to conducting examinations, preparing marksheets, and other examination formalities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, Experience in academic administration and record-keeping systems, and he is an Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers. He has executed many leadership roles for IEEE. He has more than 20 publications which include Scopus/ UGC Care indexed and has a respectable Google Scholar h-index. Vast experience across all levels, expertise in understanding and prioritizing various tasks. Expert in Teaching and learning, an expert in Registrar office activity like record maintenance, supervising curriculum design, holding faculty meetings, curriculum development, etc. In the last organizations, he has organized and participated in many Seminars and webinars, MOOCs, and one National conference. He believes in innovations, incubation, IPR Entrepreneurship, and research activity and established the University's incubation (IIIE) Cell. He has been appreciated many times, as an ideal mentor to the Department of Electrical Engineering and for building confidence in management, He has also been given the charge of Director- Polytechnic of 800 students strength. His strength is discipline, less talkative, and hard work. Under his leadership, he organized industrial trips to Nuclear Power Plant Narora, BHEL, and many more. He has executed significant Ministry of Skill Development projects like NIESBUD and the Wadhwani Foundation. Under his leadership, Techno-cultural activities were conducted like "SPARK" "TECHFEST" "SPORTS FIESTA" and more. He has a leading role in the Grievance Cell, Anti-Ragging Committee, Placement Coordination Committee, Editorial Team Member of the University Journal, and many more.
