Dr. Mohammed Rageeb Mohammed Usman is a distinguished academician, researcher, and administrator in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences, currently serving as Professor and Head of the Department of Pharmacognosy at Smt. Sharadchandrika Suresh Patil College of Pharmacy, Chopda, Maharashtra, India. With over 18 years of experience in teaching and research, he has made significant contributions to pharmacy education, natural product research, and academic leadership.

Dr. Md. Rageeb Md. Usman completed his B. Pharm. and M. Pharm. from North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon, Maharashtra, India. He earned his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Sri Satya Sai University of Technology & Medical Sciences, Sehore, Madhya Pradesh, India. He was further awarded a Doctor of Literature (D.Litt.) in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Mount Elbert Central University, USA, and completed his postdoctoral research at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

He has an exceptional academic and research record, with more than 27 national and international patents, authorship of over 175 books and 10 book chapters, publication of more than 210 research and review articles, and over 270 presentations and participations in national and international conferences. His mentorship has led to the successful guidance of more than 80 undergraduate, 33 postgraduate, and 3 Ph.D. students, and he is currently supervising several UG, PG, and doctoral scholars.

Dr. Md. Rageeb Md. Usman is an active contributor to academic governance and professional bodies. He serves as a member of the Board of Studies and Board of Examination at Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon. He is also a life member and office bearer in several prestigious professional organizations, including the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI), Society of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (SPER), Association of Pharmacy Professionals (APP), Indian Pharmacists Association (IPA), and many others. Additionally, he contributes to scholarly publishing as an Associate Editor and Editor for various reputed journals and magazines.

His excellence in teaching, research, and professional service has been recognized through numerous national and international awards, including the Young Pharmacy Teacher Award, Young Scientist Award, Eminent Teacher Award, Lifetime Achievement Award, Excellence in Education Award, Outstanding Scientist Award, NMU Research Excellence Award for Patents, SPER Eminent Teacher Award, Bharat Shiksha Gaurav Puraskar, Best Indian Golden Personalities Award, and Rashtriya Gaurav Award, among others.

Dr. Md. Rageeb Md. Usman is widely respected for his disciplined, innovative, and student-centric approach to teaching and research. He has actively contributed as a subject expert, resource person, and delegate in various academic and professional forums. His biography has been featured in the internationally recognized directory Who’s Who in the World (2016, 2017, 2023, and 2024).
