Dr. Subhendu Chakroborty

About
Dr. Subhendu Chakroborty has completed his MSc. Chemistry (Organic Specialization) from Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) University Tamil Nadu and Ph.D. in Chemistry from Ravenshaw University, Cuttack. After completing his degree, he joined the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Indore, India, as a post-doctoral fellow. He later moved to Taiwan in Jan 2017 and worked as a postdoc fellow with Prof. Albert T. Wu at the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering of National Central University. After completing his one-year tenure, he then moved to work with Prof. Chun-Jen Huang of the Biomedical Sciences and Engineering department at the same university, where he got an opportunity to work on an industrial project, “Surface modification for silicone catheters.” He was in charge of the whole work, from chemical synthesis, material characterizations, surface modification, post-functionalization, and surface analysis.
