JITENDRA KUMAR SINGH

About

I have worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur, since March 2015.

I received my Ph.D. (2017) and M.Tech (2010) in Chemical Engineering from Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur.
I received my B. Tech (2008) Degree in Food Technology and Engineering from Uttar Pradesh Technical University Lucknow, and I received my AMIE (2020) in Chemical Engineering from the Institution of Engineers India Kolkata.
I received my Certification Courses in Chemical Safety, Industrial Safety, Electrical Safety, and construction safety from the National Safety Council of India, Mumbai.
My research areas are water desalination, bio-fuel, bio-energy, Occupational Health and safety, and waste management. I have published fifty-four research papers in International/National journals and International/National conferences in my research areas. I have attended forty-two Short-term courses /workshops and seventeen International/ National conferences across India. I have organized 11 International/ National conferences and 6 workshops/weeks. I delivered several expert lectures on water desalination at FDPs.
I have lifetime memberships in various National and International bodies, such as the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (IIChE), the Institution of Engineers India (AMIE), Indian Desalination Association (InDA), and International Association of Engineers (IAENG).
I was elected Executive Committee Member and am serving as Honorable Joint-Treasurer in Indian Desalination Association, BARC Mumbai, for 2019-2021 and 2021-2023. In addition, I was elected as an Executive Committee Member for IIChE Jaipur Regional Center for 2017-2019 and 2019-2021).
I have supervised nineteen undergraduates' industrial/research projects, fifteen postgraduate research/industrial projects, and one Ph.D. Thesis. Currently, I am supervising seven postgraduate industrial projects and one Ph.D. I taught fifteen courses to undergraduate students of Chemical, Civil, and Mechanical Engineering and nine to postgraduate students of Health, safety, and environmental engineering.
