About
Dr. Naveen Sharma is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Netaji Subhas University of Technology, New Delhi, India. He earned his Ph.D. in Thermal Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IITR), Uttarakhand, his M. Tech. in Computational Fluid Dynamics and Heat Transfer (CFD & HT) from the National Institute of Technology Hamirpur (NITH), Himachal Pradesh, and his B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak, India. He was awarded the Director’s Medal for Academic Excellence during his M. Tech. at NIT Hamirpur.
With over eight years of teaching and research experience in Mechanical Engineering, Dr. Sharma has authored or co-authored more than 65 international publications, including journal articles, conference proceedings, and book chapters. He serves as a review board member for several internationally renowned journals indexed in SCI/SCIE/Scopus with high impact factors. Additionally, he is an Academic Editor for the International Journal of Energy Research (Wiley).
Dr. Sharma is actively involved in numerous international conferences and symposiums, serving in roles such as Session Chair, Invited Speaker, Advisory Board Member, Review Board Member, and Program Committee Member. He has delivered several invited talks at webinars, faculty development programs (FDPs), and workshops. Furthermore, he is deeply engaged with various research, academic, and professional societies. His research interests span Experimental Fluid Mechanics, Optical Techniques (PIV and LCT), Heat Transfer Enhancement, Solar Thermal Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Computational Fluid Dynamics, and Optimization Techniques.
