Ayan Ray

About

Dr Ray joined the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore since 2014 as a Researcher. His current research interest lies in the field of soft matter, rheology, functional nanomaterials, magnetic materials, metal oxide thin film and materials characterization.

Previously, Ray worked as a senior scientist in ISO Accredited Laboratory, Singapore from 2013 to 2014. postdoctoral researcher at the University of Kansas (US) from 2012 to 2013. He completed his Ph.D. thesis between 2009 and 2012 on "Organisation of Paramagnetic and nonmagnetic colloidal particles in ferrofluid" at the University Bayreuth (Germany). In 2009, he graduated as Master of Sciences from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (India).
