About

I am a dedicated Postdoctoral Research Fellow at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU), Taiwan, with over a decade of experience at the intersection of biotechnology, materials science, and electronic engineering. My core expertise lies in developing next-generation biosensors, particularly flexible field-effect transistor (FET)-based devices, electrochemical and impedance biosensors, and microfluidic diagnostic systems.

I received my Ph.D. in electronics engineering with a specialization in biomedical devices from Chang Gung University, Taiwan, where I focused on the development of Si-based and flexible EGFET biosensors for the detection of glucose and cardiac biomarkers. I also hold an M.Sc. in Biotechnology from Amity University and a B.Sc. in Life Sciences from CSJM University, India. My research journey includes postdoctoral appointments at both National Chung Hsing University and NYCU, where I continue to innovate in the field of smart diagnostics.

My work spans cleanroom-based micro/nanofabrication, RF sputtering, sol-gel processes, and flexible substrate integration. I have hands-on experience with a range of analytical tools including XRD, SEM, AFM, and XPS, and I’ve extensively worked on surface chemistry and biomolecule immobilization. In addition, I’m trained in handling cell lines such as PC-12, MCF-7, HEK-293, and H9c2, which complements my biosensor applications in healthcare.

To date, I have published over 17 peer-reviewed articles in high-impact journals such as Sensors and Actuators B: Chemical, IEEE Sensors Journal, and Scientific Reports. I have also contributed to multiple book chapters and presented my research at international conferences across Asia, Europe, and North America. I was honored with awards for best oral presentations and hold a U.S. patent for a prostate cancer screening module.

My research has been supported by prestigious grants from Taiwan’s National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) and Chang Gung Hospital. I’ve had the privilege of mentoring Ph.D. and master’s students and establishing lab infrastructure for biosensor development.

With a passion for scientific discovery and cross-disciplinary innovation, I aim to bridge the gap between emerging technologies and real-world biomedical applications. I also bring additional skills in communication, behavioral science, and foreign language (German), which enrich my ability to collaborate across cultures and disciplines.
