Dr. Punit Gaur is working as Foreign Expert (Associate Professor) at the Department of Political Science, Faculty of Journalism and Political Science, Eurasian National University, Nur-Sultan. He is Visiting Professor at the Department of Religious and Cultural Studies Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Almaty, Kazakhstan. He is also working as Visiting Professor at Bukhara State University, Bukhara, Uzbekistan He did his PhD (International Relations) from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. He was associated with CRRID as Associate Fellow and was engaged in a project “Central Asia between many Silk Roads: Indian Policy at the Crossroads” as Project Director, sponsored by ICSSR, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. Prior to this, he was working as Assistant Professor with CRRID in the programme/project titled “Cooperative Development, Peace and Security in South and Central Asia” sponsored by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. He has more than 10 years of experience in the teaching and research field. He has published research papers in books and journals with political analysis which have direct foreign policy implications. He has presented papers in a number of national and international seminars in India, Kazakhstan and several other countries. He is also actively engaged in research activities with many associations and organizations of international repute.
