About

I pray to introduce myself as Dr. DebabrataMohanty,Presently I am affianced with acoustic research in agriculture, nutritional and therapeutics approach algae and higher plants. This innovative research ultimately used to resolve the organic inputs in agriculture and malnutrition vitamin deficiency disorder too through sustainable agriculture. Two Msc and one M.phil student are also associated with the laboratory to compete their dissertation work with me. However, presently I am also associated with molecular based techniques in sound stress plant, some of the output the research has been communicated in Journal of Enviromental Pollution research (review completed; I.F 3.3). Moreover, I have 5 years and 2 month post Ph.D experience in research and teaching at various institutes in India.
Prior to this I was working as a Post doc fellow in a Research project with Prof. Debabrata Das,Dept of Biotechnology at Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, West Bengal, India. In these positions, I was engaged in demonstrating the ability to resolve a variety of issues on the stress condition algae for increasing TAG content mostly the saturated and unsaturated fattyacids. Different stress condition creates an environment to increase the lipid content in those algae. Detail work of this research has been published in Journal of Bioscience & Bioengineering,
During my PhD However, I have developed an improved procedure for liquid extract preparation from marine macro algae which do helps in agriculture for enhanced production. It was also found that these algae were contains some PGPRs which has been characterized by HPLC and other techniques. During the long term research my research was linking on algal diversity, biochemical and molecular aspects of some marine cyanobacteria, green algae and seaweeds diversity in the largest brackish water lagoon, Chilikalake where 20 new algal taxa reported new. It was also reported that increase in the salinity level provide congenial environment for the growth of Gracilaria verrucosa varieties (long, brushy) the gelling agent agar producing red algae following RAPD techniques.
I would greatly appreciate if you provide me an opportunity to work with your esteemed organization. Please find my curriculum vitae attached herewith for your kind consideration. Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Thanking you.
