About
I am Premchand Kumar Mahto, an academician and researcher in the field of Mechanical Engineering, with a strong passion for teaching, research, and continuous learning. in Hazaribagh, Jharkhand, India, where I spent my early years developing a disciplined approach toward education and life. From a young age, I was curious about how machines and systems work, which gradually shaped my interest in engineering as a career.
My doctoral research focuses on the thermo-hydraulic performance enhancement of solar air heaters using innovative surface modification techniques and optimization methods. My work primarily lies at the intersection of heat transfer, renewable energy, and computational optimization, with a particular emphasis on improving the efficiency of solar thermal systems. My thesis has been submitted, and it represents years of dedicated research involving experimental investigations, numerical modeling, and metaheuristic optimization techniques.
I have published several research papers in reputed international journals and conferences. My work has appeared in journals such as the International Journal of Thermal Sciences, Applied Thermal Engineering, and International Communications in Heat and Mass Transfer. My publications cover a range of topics including solar air heater optimization, biodiesel performance analysis, nanofluid applications, and predictive modeling using artificial intelligence techniques. These contributions reflect my commitment to advancing knowledge in thermal engineering and renewable energy systems.
As an educator, I believe in a student-centric approach that emphasizes conceptual clarity, practical understanding, and critical thinking. I encourage students to engage in research, develop problem-solving skills, and explore innovative ideas. My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that education should not only impart knowledge but also inspire curiosity and creativity.
Looking ahead, I aim to further strengthen my research in renewable energy and thermal engineering, collaborate with researchers globally, and contribute to the development of sustainable technologies. I am also committed to mentoring students and guiding them toward successful careers in engineering and research. My long-term goal is to bridge the gap between academic research and practical implementation, contributing meaningfully to society and the nation.
