I am the Husband of my Wife and a Father of my two lovely Daughters. A learner, and someone who has carved out a very small space in the academic world.
He taught Under-graduate Political Science subject at Morning Star College, Shillong, a college affiliated to North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong, India for 6 years.
He completed M.A. (Political Science) and earned doctorate degree from North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong, India. His Ph.D. work was published in a book entitled ELITE, IDENTITY AND POLITICS IN MANIPUR, in the year 2013. He cleared UGC-NET in the year 2000.
He was awarded Postdoctoral Fellowship for SC/ST for the year 2013-14 by UGC, New Delhi (Award No.: PDFSS-2013-14-ST-MAN-6779), and accordingly on 15th September 2014, he joined the Department of Political Science, NEHU as UGC-Postdoctoral Research Fellow, working on a project titled "Democratisation Process and Gender Equality."
On 07th May 2018 he was appointed to the post of Assistant Professor under Higher Education Department, Government of Manipur, India and on 18th June 2018, he submitted his joining report as Assistant Professor (Political Science) posted at C.I. College, Bishnupur, and continue to work in that capacity till date.
He believes in himself and does not hesitate to admit his limitations!!
